TUTORIAL TUESDAY/ DIY natural lipstick 💄
Ok folks, did you know that the cosmetics industry is very poorly regulated, and that a woman can potentially consume up to seven pounds of lipstick over her lifetime? Once applied to our lips it gets digested plain and simple.
The FDA and cosmetics industry needs to become much more aware of the longterm risks involved in lipstick consumption. There are still lipsticks that contain lead, which as we know is a neurotoxin and even the smallest amount is detrimental. There is a plethora of other unwanted chemicals and toxic metals that could potentially found as well.
That ain’t good!!
For those who like to wear a little sassy lipstick please be vigilant about ingredients lists OR make your own - so cheap & easy:)
Have you read the book ‘There’s lead in your lipstick.’ By Gill Deacon?
